The Day before - preparation
Well I'm sort of jumping right into this and I need to explain myself.
A friend of mine is doing this course by a company that helps better the lives of other people by getting them to improve 1percent at a time in a hundred day span. So doing one thing to improve yourself everyday for 100 days.
I am not doing that but what I am doing is taking the idea of it and turning it into something made specifically with me in mind. I feel I've been in a rut, and this doing one things a day thing seems like the perfect way to get out of said rut because if I try to do everything at once, I get overwelmed, I never meet my expectations and then I get upset with myself and just quit.
I want to better myself and I think I know how to do so, it's just actually doing it that is the hard part.
One thing a day seems like a no pressure, less stressful way to change the things you want to change about your life such as to stop procrastinating, find some inspiration and become a better person.
So the prep for today that I have done is:
Wiring on index cards I came up with some categories: Organization, Inspiration, Creation, Education, Health, My Personal Being, Indulgences, and a list of things I need to stop procrastinating on and a reading list.
These will be the foundations on which I base my one a day on. I will also create a sylabus for the week and a percentage update for mile stones in increments of 10.
Lets see what I can do and If I can stick with it. I will be blogging every day about my personal growth and the process.
